Historic Performance by Vaibhav Suryavanshi
In a remarkable display of talent, Vaibhav Suryavanshi achieved the fastest century by an Indian and became the youngest player to do so in IPL history, leading the Rajasthan Royals to an impressive eight-wicket victory over the Gujarat Titans on Monday.
Suryavanshi scored 101 runs off just 38 deliveries, smashing 11 sixes and seven fours, making him the youngest centurion in the tournament at the age of 14 years and 32 days.
Facing a challenging target of 210 runs, the Rajasthan Royals successfully chased it down, finishing at 212 for two in just 15.5 overs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal also contributed significantly, remaining unbeaten with a score of 70 runs off 40 balls during the chase.
Prior to this, Gujarat Titans' captain Shubman Gill scored a solid 84 runs, while Jos Buttler added an unbeaten 50, helping their team set a competitive total of 209 for four.
